Eva, you are quite talented and I believe wholeheartedly that God has some great things in store for you and Jeff. Taking all of your experiences, strengths, and personality into account, how do you think God is using all of this to work out His plan for your life? I believe He created you (and all of us) on purpose and for a purpose. What's His purpose for your life?

I hope this doesn't sound condescending. :) I HONESTLY believe that God has an amazing plan for you two! I love you.

I so enjoyed having my own family around as well as meeting Jeff's family. I have often said and continue to say that Family, all of us, are the most important thing to me while on this earth. I love you all and am looking forward to the next 35 years!
Eva you have found the BEST man for you and he is GREAT! We all love him and are very proud to say he is our family. I also have learned many things in the past two years on this endless journey called life. The one most important thing is to put your faith in trust in God and He will see us through. I love you all very much and thank you for one of the most important weekends in my life.

Last weekend was a blast! It went by way too fast. The wedding was AWESOME and I'm so proud of you and Jeff. Thank you for rushing out to IHOP to see us off. It meant a lot that you would travel all the way out there so quickly!

I love you two!

Eva,
I think you are doing the best you can, allowing yourself to feel how you are feeling and at the same time respecting where Jeff comes from and that this is his father/family relationship.
I would suggest, if this helps, just keep doing what you're doing. Loving Jeff, praying for the situation, allowing yourself the emotions but trying to stay "neutral" in your reactions towards his family. In the long run, it will make for smoother relationships in the future.
And I know things are tight for you with the wedding and all, but I wonder if it would be possible for you to pay for plane tickets for them to be here, and give them a place to stay. I wonder if given that scenario, how they would react. If they were not to come, I know that would be worse, but I just wonder what if ... there might be a small chance they would make the best of it and be there for their son.

Anyway - thinking of you. I know what a hard time this is just before the wedding, especially with family. Hang in there and remember the most important part about ALL of this is that You and Jeff are getting married. The rest is just icing on the cake. ;)
