Saying Goodbye is never easy

Tonight I had the chance to say goodbye to one of the patients that I have been caring for at work. Her name was Geraldine, but I lovingly referred to her as “Blueberry”. In all my years of nursing, this was by far the hardest goodbye I’ve had with a patient.
